The Mission of the Rinaldi Foundation is to work for the human, economic and structural development of the different communities of the Vice-Province.
To pursue this end, the Foundation will aid the Salesian communities of Haiti in the following ways:
- Assist in the identification, implementation and evaluation and monitoring of projects
- Seek funding for projects that reduce poverty and meet the needs and priorities of the population
- Integrate these projects into a global development strategy for the Vice Province
- Use the Foundation's expertise and knowledge base to augment a given project's ability to reduce poverty
- Provide legal assistance
Coordination
As a point of reference in the Vice-Province and as a center of knowledge, expertise, and research in the field of economic and social development, the Foundation will:
- Prepare and implement the development policy of the Vice-Province, in coordination with the rest of the Vice-Province
- Coordinate the development activities of the particular Salesian communities
- Establish links with government and international organizations for fundraising, collaboration, human resources, and partnerships
- Help the Salesian communities to develop strong organizational structures
- Provide methods and assistance for the identification, planning, drafting and implementation of projects, with a constant concern for transparency
